Reading time: 5 minutes

The Australian Youth Water Polo Championships (AYWPC), Water Polo Australia's largest annual event, will return to Western Australia from 14-24 April.

The event will attract thousands of out of state visitors with 750 games played across Perth HPC, Beatty Park, UWA and Bicton Pool.

Please note there will be times throughout the tournament when we cannot guarantee availability of public swimming lanes. These times are:

•    Monday 14 April: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
•    Tuesday 15 April: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
•    Wednesday 16 April: 9:30 am – 10:30 am
•    Thursday 17 April: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
•    Tuesday 22 April: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
•    Wednesday 23 April: 9:30 am – 10:30 am and 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

The Indoor 8 Lane Pool will be unavailable for the duration of the event. Public swimming will instead take place in the Outdoor 8 Lane Pool, and outside event times in the Outdoor 10 Lane Pool.

Please talk to staff at reception on arrival for guidance on which pools are available.

The Aussie Sharks, the Australian men's team, will also play New Zealand in a three-game series played alongside the AYWPC. Tickets are available here.

Thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing you for your next visit!
