Huge weekend of junior sports 4-6 April!

Please note we’re expecting an extremely busy precinct and carparks at the Perth HPC precinct from 4-6 April.

Due to an expected high volume of traffic entering Perth HPC carparks, patrons accessing the venue on Friday 4 April should allow extra time for parking. In addition, there will be no public swimming lanes available between 8am and 4pm (due to school carnival bookings throughout the day).

The full schedule of events includes:

Friday 4 April:

WA Athletics Stadium  
▪️10am-5pm: Day 1, 2025 Australian Junior Athletics Championships

Bendat Basketball Centre
▪️All day: Hawks Junior comp and NBL1 West season  
▪️6.30pm onwards: Perry Lakes Hawks v Lakeside Lightning

Perth HPC Aquatics 
▪️All day: Pools are fully booked with 3 school carnivals taking place
▪️5pm onwards: 2025 Aqua Technics WA Junior Championships

Saturday 5 April:

WA Athletics Stadium 
▪️10am-5pm: Day 2, 2025 Australian Junior Athletics Championships 
▪️8am-4.30pm: 2025 Aqua Technics WA Junior Championships

Bendat Basketball Centre 
All day:  
▪️Basketball WA WABL  
▪️State Performance Program (SPP) trials 
▪️Everybodys Game Carnival

Perth HPC Aquatics
▪️8am-4.30pm: 2025 Aqua Technics WA Junior Championships

Sunday 6 April: 

WA Athletics Stadium 
▪️10am-5pm: Day 3, 2025 Australian Junior Athletics Championships

▪️9am-4.30pm: 2025 Aqua Technics Junior Championships
